Best talk to someone about how you feel and go to a therapist.

Sounds like you have been so traumatized by what you saw, you have developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (if you are not familiar with this, google it, it is also know as PTSD). FInd a therapist in your area who specializes in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and they will be able to work with you on stopping intrusive thoughts/images and processing the trauma your felt.

The medications you listed above are nice for a short term relief but have a very short half life. I would look at at a SSRI such as prozac or lexapro to help with the anxiety and trauma (these drugs have been shown effective for PTSD).

Try to realize that the movie was a catalyst to what was already in side of you in the way of fear. It wasn't the movie itself that has brought about your panic attack, but how you took it in and what that means to you.

If another person watched it, they wouldn't react the same as you.

Once you realize this Truly, you will look to your self and not others , to change what it is , that is disturbing you, and has been triggered by the movie, unexpectedly at the time, effecting you still now.

Well Its a little hard to help you need a slight more detail... Like What type of movie was this?Paranormal, Rape/Murder? Was this something your friend did or taped? There is allot of open questions here. What made this one video so bothering to you? What was in it that happened that makes you so nervous?don't think you should turn to a bunch of meds..Your suppressing whats bothering you instead of facing it! Im just guessing here but I really think you need to get it out seems like you don't even want to Write about it! Good luck I hope you work threw this!

It is not the video, it is underlying issues. Counseling.
