Three days ago I dreamed of a small plane (like an F-27 size) crashing. I saw the people inside dying, I tried to reach out and grab them...but they all burned to death. My husband is on a commuter flight this morning...I'm very worried. I wonder how often people dream of airplanes crashing.

all that happened is you got worried about your husbands safety, and dreamt the worse. do not worry, the chances of a plane going down is very slim.

no not really, because if the airplane crashed you would die within a second. I used to have dreams about being eaten alive by pihrahanas though, That is why I'll never go to Brazil

Your dream means that you or your husbands career is going down the tubes. I used to have dreams about crashing planes, and the plane signifies a career, it has nothing to do with tragedy. My job was just completely stressful, and my boss was a first class moron. Do you worry about your husbands job? Hate having him travel? That is probably why you had the dream in the first place.............Everything will be OK........

I have dreamed of being on a plane and it going down, catching fire, and crashing. I have never been on a plane for real, and I never will, because I love to drive. Thus my dream can't possibly be a premonition. Also you dream about what you are thinking about. His plane flight is just on your mind.

I had a recurring nightmare where I was being chased around by antibiotics with arms and legs.

Try reading Carl Jung's "Interpretation of Dreams" if you'd like to find out what your subconscious may be telling you. Your plane crashing could have had something to do with a lost opportunity that you desperately wanted but missed out on. Dreams are hardly ever literal so you might have to read between the lines a little :)

spooky you asking this.. i dream at least once a week about plane crashes... every dream is of a different crash and all of the dreams are in great detail and i wake up in a sweat generally. having said this i am not afraid of flying and have never come close to actually seeing a crash nor have i ever had a bad flight. dont know if the dreams mean anything but i am sure you have nothing to worry about...your husband will return home fine regards russell

No, I never dreamed of airplane crashing though I'm afraid of heights. I usually dream of falling or being on a precipice such as cliff or edge of building. I understand that it's rare for people who dream of falling to actually crash. As to air travel, it's safer by far than travel by car or even train.

Dreams about airplanes crashing happen because a plane DID crash.....not because it's GOING TO!

I do quite often...seriously.

Although, that said, the dreams are kind of similar to the "falling" dreams that most people experience in as much as I never actually get to impact, just the total chaos that precedes it.

I'm sure your dreams are just your subconcious worrying about your hubby. He'll be fine, it's safer than crossing the street.

You are sweet wife !!! Your Husband is lucky to get.

You know, In all over world the most scientifically handle area is aeronotics.because there is no place fo mistake.Today , After every flight lands on the airport, it has to go for full check up and has to get certified that NOC(No Objection Certificate)

then only it can take another flight. Other then this if you see stat... for Plane crash then you will come to know that This aero plan crash is very rare and happens 1 or Max 2 in a yr or two yr.

Hijacjing is different thing so please dont mix it.

Now never feel upset.

One small Story For You! One day a there were some celebrity who were traveling in a plan. And there was also some renound politician. In whcih one famous actor(Saif Ali Khan) was also traveling and And he has the same problem as you have. He was nervous. One of the person sitting near by him got that and asked him-Y r u afraid ? then he expressed his fear in hidden words" that is PLANE CRASH"

Other guy explain" Dont worry there are alot of people who are enormously famous travelling in this flight and God will never want to give a sudden death to each and every.

The moral of story is that " You always Travel with you luck and trust your luck."

Another thing i want to mention.

Dream is nothing but Result of your Fear , Worries , tension and happiness. See you were knowing that your husband is leaving for some twon by Flight next day and your unconsicous mind was alraming you always. And once you went to sleep then it came as plan crash "YOUR DREAM"

Live happy life.We can't win over luck and just trust your luck.it will never cheat you.

Hi! First let me say that dreams are rarely what they look like. According to Zolar's "Being in an airplane disaster but not killed" means: financial gains. (Lucky you!!) On the other hand if you are seeing others killed in this accident then it means: You have a vigorous mind. Still nothing bad really!! "Red Sky" represents: Increase in wealth. But, "a great expanse of flaming red sky" means: Desolation. Which brings me to a part that says "if things are falling out of the sky"- expect war. The black clouds I am not sure about, but the color black itself represents: sadness, deceipt, or misfortune. It is however the opposite if you are dressed in black at a funeral. I recently looked up "spiders" and they represent: Much happiness. "Finding a needle"- You have appreciative friends Randy Travis may have been a representation of someone you feel is a superstar in your mind. Are you being harrassed or wooed by someone who thinks he is a superstar. Or do you think you are the superstar and feel disgusted with yourself for it. Take your pick! ;-) If you were to pin point Randy as an adulterer then "other people committing adultery" represents: Loss of money! But I wouldn't exactly call your dream of Randy adultery. "Talking with a friend in a room means": Joy and consolation. Some good, some bad. I wouldn't let it keep you from getting your needed rest at night. The news is all about war and mayhem, nothing new about that plausible warning!! Sleep loose, no worries!

That is one of the freakiest dreams I have, and it does recur every so often. I think those dreams tend to come up when I am thinking about a plane trip I am taking or worried about a loved one taking one. The mind has a good way of messing with you in this way. I wouldn't worry about your husband, his trip is going to go perfectly!
