I'm fascinated by autistic people, socio/phycopaths, schizophrenics, serial killers and weird stuff like that. I'm not an evil person, I read the bible and I go to church. I feel bad for being so fascinated by this types of mental illnesses. I know not all them are evil, but the ones that are make me feel guity for liking it. What do you think. Is it normal or I have a problem?

some could be, yet how do you distinguish them from the extremely mentally unwell? I met somebody i concept strengthen into extremely probably like that, yet (huge sadness) he became out to be unwell and not who he claimed to be in any respect (the Holy Spirit of God). Yeah, it sounds nuts that i concept he could be, yet he made very convinvcing arguements ie some angel hands in photos have a "V" between the two digits of the middle and ring finger. He had that too. I misplaced touch with him and met him back those days and he's thoroughly distinctive. Now he thinks he's a close-by guy... I do think of he's a psychic, yet a mentally unwell one. So how the he77 do you establish who's gifted and who's insane???

Are you fascinated as in, wanting to learn about it or fascinated as in you like making fun of them? I don't think gaining knowledge is ever a problem as long as you are not using it to harm anyone.

P.S. I wouldn't put Autism in the same realm as these others.

The brain is fascinating and it is interesting to learn about people whose brains work differently than ours. There is nothing wrong with being interested, that's why they make TV shows about it - it's interesting.

Maybe you are a natural-born doctor or psychiatrist. Follow your interests and learn all you can. Maybe you will be the one who comes up with a cure or a drug that can really help someone.

You do not have a problem.

Everyone is. Everyone loves a disturbed person. Don't worry you're normal.

You make it sound like caring about the clinically insane is something that people shouldn't care about...
