Can somebody gives me one solid difference between coaching and mentoring?

Question

Use a maximum of 12 words to define for me coaching and 12 words to define for me mentoring in work place. Show me one solid differnce between the two terms. Are these two terms related to behavior or environment?

Coaching requires the ability and education to properly train someone in a method for proficiency and success in a particular area(such as sports, employment, cooking, fitness, etc). Mentoring is a method whereby someone is matched with a person for the main goal of encouragement, self-esteem development compassion, interest, empathy sincerity, genuineness and affection. All coaches can't mentor, nor can mentors always coach. They are very different.

well I am not sure about the work place but a mentoring relationship definition comes from the Greek....to think, to teach, to listen, to endure....coaching is not like a friendship, but more like a teacher.

in my opinion, mentoring is teaching something with words and ideas while coaching is showing somebody how to do it.
