Why does no one believe me i have Dyslexia!?

My teacher doesn't believe me, Some of my friends don't believe me, Only one family member believes me, and random people on the internet REALLY don't believe me!
Like they will say "OH my friends have Dyslexia and they can't read or write at all!"
And then we will get in a massive argument, but i have got it as i had to take the test and it showed i had it.
And now there are 3 people on YouTube calling me really horrible stuff because we had a argument, and now they say i don't have it and are getting other people to hate me, All because i asked a rhetorical question.
And to anyone who is thinking right now my spelling is ok, It is because i have a new version of Mozilla that is like Microsoft and corrects me when i am spelling wrong.
So how do i get people to believe me i have Dyslexia!?
I tell people nicely, I argue it, i prove it.
But still no one does!

Why do you have to tell people in the first place. Lots of people have dyslexia and they just get on with their lives. Why are you ranting on YouTube and yahoo about it? If you had cancer and people didn't believe you then I'd get it but not this. People have varying degrees of dyslexia. If you have software that fixes spelling then I fail to see how it effects your Internet interactions with total strangers. Your test should have been done through the school or results sent to the school. If it was official. Your teacher will have been informed. If not, why not? The education specialist who conducted your test will happily inform your teacher.

dyslexia is a learning disability. It just means a person has to take a little more time to proofread what he has written. People who have dyslexia cannot type fast, because they need to concentrate on what they are typing.



Do NOT use dyslexia as an excuse for ANYTHING. Just take your time, look things over and then you'll start to believe you've beaten dyslexia.

People are jerks, and who gave you the test to take? Was it a doctor because I am pretty sure that is the only person who can give you a definite diagnoses? And you would probably have to have a parent there with you to take it, or the doctor would tell your parents. So your parents would know and they could prove it to your teachers and stuff. Best to get yourself evaluated and diagnosed.



Your school can see if you're eligible to be tested for dyslexia, but unless they have someone who's trained in giving the tests, they will have to send you elsewhere.



There are any number of odd ways you can be seeing things, and it can be frustrating trying to do schoolwork when you see things differently than your teachers do.

It's because some people have been brain washed to assume that anyone who explains their disability is just making excuses even when a person is telling the truth. I to have dyslexia so I understand that you are telling the truth.

That's so mean, those people shouldn't be your friends. And have your mother talk to the teacher if they dont belive you because that's not right at all. I belive you though, so theres another person that belives you. Maybe could you get something from the doctor to prove to everyone you have it, if you really want to prove it that bad.

If your teacher doesn't believe you, bring in a copy of your test results. If youtube people don't believe you, then try uploading a copy of your test results..if that doesn't work, then who cares what they think, you know what you have and so do your family members.

i have Dyslexia as well and thanks to firefox i can post in a forum.. prior to that i had to type in word then copy and paste.. the thing i find strange about your attitude is except for your teacher, what does it matter? trolls on the internet just love to get you started.. they just try to get your blood boiling..
