As long as you breath things will continually happen, that's the way things work, I mean if you have fear of these things then there is where things need to change except where you don't have the power to change it like getting old but what you don't want to do is invite fear or give life to fear. You give life to it by thinking it will happen until it becomes real, all because you willed it by constantly giving it life. The things you fear, you change, by confronting it, looking at the nature of it, what's the purpose, life is a give and take situation, that's the equality you are guaranteed, everything else will happen whether you like it or not such as death, getting old, unexpected car wrecks and things such as that. The only thing you can do is live until you cant anymore, bring peace if you dislike confusion, trust yourself not to fall from extreme or minor heights, see the beauty of the ocean for what it is, if you fail SO WHAT, learn from it for the next time you wont fail reverse the direction of all the negatives you feel and you should see improvement some where, I hope that helps some.

Well....I don't think love is going to work with a fear of spiders. lol I would say that fear can be overcome through understanding, and reason. I used to be afraid of the dark as a kid. The usual, demons, ghosts, spirits, boogieman type stuff. It would keep me up almost every night as I had an overactive imagination. Then as I began to get older, I looked into the subject, and found that it was all in my head. There is no such thing as any of these, and the only thing that says they are true are myths, and folklore. I even got myself to believe the bible was/is a lie. There is no one "watching me", my dead ancestors do not live around me. demons don't lurk the earth, and the Devil really isn't that bad of guy. The biggest fact I found is that no one has ever proved that any of these things exist. So, I guess intelligence conquers fear. After I had tossed out my fear of the dark, I came to embrace it. Now I spend most of my day in the dark. :)

A consultation with a psychologist would be a good place to start. No, you won't be "cured" but you can reach a point where reasonable concerns don't remain overwhelming.

Being cautious is a wise approach to life. Nobody's anxious to spend time in a hospital bed or to meet the local undertaker in his/her professional capacity, but prudent people do take precautions - such as not running with scissors in your hand or drinking oneself into a stupor, or abusing substances such as heroin, Oxycontin or crack. Reasonable people don't drive like a bat out of hades, and thoughtful people don't let balderdash about the "paranormal" get them all worried.

At the same time, a reasonable amount of risk is the spice of life. Motorcycles are not inherently dangerous, nor are firearms or airplanes. Snakes are generally more afraid of you than you are of them. Rejection in the arena of romance is not the end of the world but is a learning experience. We all encounter it, and all that means is that not everyone would make a suitable mate. Heck, it means that for many women, I am not a suitable mate - gawd, I'd hate to have to tell you how often I've been told to buzz off; that story would take a week to tell! But hon, I've been married to the most wonderful woman in the world for over seventeen years now - a divorcee whose first husband decided she wasn't good enough - the damn fool! His loss - my gain. What a treasure she is! So are her two children he fathered before he found someone more to his liking.

Hon, life without risk is not worth living. We humans are remarkably resilient creatures; we just rarely have a chance to prove it. But do make an appointment with a licensed psychologist - check ahead of time with his office staff; many of them offer easy payment plans and have a sliding fee scale for folks who truly are a bit lean in the money department. An anti-depressant medication may be helpful on a temporary basis. But that's for you and the psycholotist to decide jointly. Get going, and good luck!

You can't think about those things... you have to get out and live your life and be happy. Some of those things like the world ending, death, murder and becoming old you can do nothing about. 10 out of 10 people die, when is not up to you. Spiders you can't avoid, stomp them. Dogs just act calm and don't even pay attention and usually they don't bother you. The ocean is easy, don't get in. If you try to do something and fail, try again. Everyone has failure at some point in their life, same goes with rejection and loss. It is something that takes time but you will get over and move on.

You are suffering from anxiety and probably always will. You can get drugs but it means that you have to take them for ever. When you accept what the problem is then you will realize that it is not any one thing but every thing. Anxiety makes you feel terrible and self conscious but you will find that most of your anxieties will disappear leaving just one or two which may magnify. When you feel anxious have a few deep breaths and count, thinking about what you are doing. You belong to a very big club and everybody has there own way of dealing with the problem.

Try not to be afraid of all those things. Death and the World ending are really the only two scary ones, and I'm not too sure we should be concerned about the end of the World just yet.

If you want to look on my Blog you will be able to find some thoughts on fears and why I find some of them silly.

This also covers Heights.

I used to have an acute fear of dogs. I got over it by facing the problem head on and deciding that I wasnt go to let these canines dictate how I go about my life. I had to be brave, push my limits on several occasions, and by doing that I found that actually dogs werent that bad and now I own one!!

When I was a kid my mom took me to a child psychologist to help deal with it. Perhaps you could go to your doctor and explain how your fear of everything is taking over your life. I am sure he will put you in touch with the right person to help you deal with it.

Wow.. honestly I thought this was going to be a fun question, but then I saw all the phobias..

you should get more qualified help than us crazy people on here. if I were to play therapist I would say you need to be with someone you can trust and slowly ease into confronting the major ones.... (dont confront the spiders... they really are creepy! lol)

oh... good luck

i don,t think you can stop all this easily but a start might be just to deal with the present moment in time, i.e all fears are based on future perception of situations, what might, what might not, as the old saying goes one thing at a time, don,t delve to much into the future, nothing you imagine is fact unless you make it that way, whose to say that its all bad in the future, try to change your thinking for the better, and imagine the good side of things, past experinces are in the past, let them stay there, start thinking of wht you want not what you don,t want.
