Lately I've been dealing with the uncertainty of not knowing if anything is real or not. Its not only that. I sometimes get these strange coincidences. At one point, I might think of something, and then I hear another person near me speaking about it. Solipsism syndrome is absolutely terrible, and its ruining my life, relationships, etc. Can someone give me some guidance? Please do not recommend anything religious, because I am not. Also, I have a few rebuttals against solipsism below.

1. If nothing is real, why is it that I might expect something, and it turns out differently? Thus proving I have no control of anything and that it exists outside of my mind

2. If this is all a dream of some sort, than I would have had to create faces from people I've seen before.

3. If everyone is just a figment of my imagination, why dont they always act exactly like I do, or like the things that I like?

Thanks for everything

I am ready to render maximum help to you at any time. Where are you. I am here. You are in some remote place, which is unknown to me. Nothing is visible from here. Everything is subtle. How can I diagnose without seeing the actual patient. Since my car is down with some major repairs, please send a vehicle to pick me up.

Sorry

but Solipsism is a very possible hypothesis

and I can't tell you it isn't

I have been wondering about it myself

First of all stop being negative

and DON'T call it a syndrome

(no matter what others say)

It may be true

so don't label yourself ''sick''

without proof

There is Very High possibility that this world is NOT real

Do you think all the Hinduists and the Buddhists who believe that this world is an illusion = Maya

all suffer from a ''syndrome''?

Billions of people have this religious belief

Don't sweat it!

1. It turns out differently because it's your UNCONSCIOUS mind, and not your conscious mind, that has control over the events in your life.

2 Not necessary. Imagination taps into the collective unconscious mind again and like dreams it can use archetypes = symbols common to all humanity from our earliest ancestors

3. Again because it's NOT you, the conscious part, that is controlling them but your SUBCONSCIOUS mind. It creates your reality.

I used to have Solipsism Syndrome. 5 years later now, I wish I had it again. Not having to worry about other people plotting against you or ostracizing you... Trust me, it only gets worse from where you are.

Also, you'll never prove or disprove this one way or another (or anything for that matter) so you should think about other things.
