Why are male teenagers so immature in their behavior?

I was watching girls and boys today at a pool and I noticed a huge difference in their actions.They are allowed to use a fun run to slide down on .The boys behaved like monkeys wheras the girls approached the fun run rather sensibly and cautiously.

Most cultures have issues with headstrong irresponsible teens who takes risks.

If you look at grown up men i think you will find they never really grow up. It is always the women who are responsible and the men who are childish.



For example: if in a poor village the men get extra money they spend it on themselves, but if the women get money they spend it on their families.



Also they often say that a husband is a womans first child.



Why? I believe we have evolved so that the men are the warriors and the women the carers. Each has their strength, and their weakness. When there is a crisis the men suddenly seem much more grown up. It is like they have to be really silly the rest of the time to make up for the times when they have to be serious.

Likely it is a society influence, but also nature's way of preparing women to be mothers and boys to be hunter/gatherers
