Why do people let their emotions control them?

Why do people do foolish things? Things that can so easily be avoided? Things that are so obviously wrong?

Why do they think they deserve to cry about it? Why should I comfort this fool who didnt listen?

Is love really that blinding? Does me not understanding this mean I dont understand and never felt love?

I dont understand how one person can cause another to throw away their pride and try so hard for another person who honestly does not care for them.

This person doesnt seem to see. She was another notch. Another score. Another point. She was used. Hello. Hello. Anyone home?

Did you not hear the "You cant change a person. Not really."

I laughed. She deserves the pain she is in. I warned her. We all did. I hope she's miserable. I should buy the dude a sandwich and give him a high five.

Can someone please explain to me how someone can be so stupid to let their emotions control them and so easily fall into a trap?

I do not comprehend.

I cant be friends with this kind of person anymore. The stupidity is killing me. I just left her there crying. I dont care. I dont want to associate with an idiot and receive the same label of such a clown.

okay one, stop being a jerk and go and comfort your friend. she made a mistake, and by you leaving her to face the situation alone is the worst thing you could possibly do.

in answer to your question, when someone falls in love, or thinks they do with another person, a part of their brain that controls rational thought is dulled, which in fact makes the statement love is blind, true.

by asking this question you labelled yourself as something far worse than a clown, you are a cruel person.

sorry for being so harsh, but its the truth and I hope you realise it

If a person is still crying, it means that they still aren't ready to make a change. Just let them cry. They have to work it out for themselves in their own mind.
