Are there any studies relating to the lack of both? Should people with no sense of humor be recruited for one way lunar missions?

Lol, no. There are plenty of no-nonsense people with poles up their asses, yet they're geniuses.

There are PLENTY of very intelligent people with no sense of humor (and not so bright people with a GREAT sense of humor). If the lack of a sense of humor means low intelligence, then clearly we are not talking about the kind of intelligence required to solve complex math problems. Rather, a lack of a sense of humor would more likely indicate a lack of a more social intelligence.

You have rightly said it. lack of humor shows that they are not in the present. They might be involved in too much thinking. They could be considered very intelligent and intellectuals. But I will not consider them. They lack the spark of intelligence. Only a thinking machine.

My opinion is that lack of sense of humor is a sign of someone not getting it. I am not sure it is low intelligence though. I am not sure it makes sense to send everyone with low intelligence to the moon. Hell, if we did that, you'd be there as we speak. :)

iq intelligence, no.
other intelligence, maybe.
and be careful how and when you have determined someone lacks a sense of humor.
