I became angry. As a child I suffered abuse, and lived through devestating life experiences. So did my friends, and many family members. Millions of people are tortured each day by the memories of these types of events. Suddenly, along came this man who was singing about them - and I felt he was mocking me, and slapping me in the face.
When the outrage became too much for him to ignore, he denied the meaning of his words, took things back, lied, and became a hypocrite to his own freedom-of-speech bullshit. He made excuses and found loopholes to justify his hateful words, and people bought it. Because they wanted to.

what do you thing about eminem?

Unless you have a chat with him, you'll never know what he's really thinking or how true to life his lyrics are. What he does is entertainment, and write lyrics and try to get the lines to rhyme, and follow a musical beat. You're taking a few songs way too seriously. Because one song or two or ten are songs you can identify with, doesn't make it a personal message to you. Many people can relate, that is why he sells many albums.

Same thing there is to think about everyone who exploits a movement for gain even though they know it is exploitation.



They have their causes and you have yours. What kind of causes are you making by hating someone who does something you consider cruel or unjustified.?

What are you doing to change the conditions he exploited? Is hate the way, or is hate the problem?

All your thoughts and actions are based on what you believe. What beliefs do you hold that are going to provide positive value?

If you just want to blame without making things better, you are behaving like an animal and will bear the consequences.

If you want to change, stop believing the things that brought you to where you are. Think about what you believe that creates hate instead of a positive plan to improve things.

Eminem is just making music...to entertain people. To earn money. It's not necessarily totally his ideas; his producers and everything may have changed around the words and meanings a bit too. And don't think too much about music, because most of the time, the words in music are meant to sound good together, not really make any meanings.
