If You Like/Love Country Music... Please Answer: What do you like to do?

Question

I am trying to get a composite of the Country Music listener. I know that Country Music spans over several different types of people; however I am simply curious of the type of activities, income, occupation, have children, hunt/fish, interests - whatever you care to share etc. I am not looking for mockery or stereotypes..

I want to develop a presentation and seek some fresh research on the Country Music listener.

No names will be used or stored.. I seek only the raw data.

I'm 19 and from Ohio. I start college this fall majoring in journalism/communications. I love writing, playing guitar, reading, bowling, camping, and just being outdoors. My family lives in the suburbs of a small town. My father has passed away from cancer, but was formall a truck driver. My mother was a stay-at-home mom and part-time babysitter.

Well I'm a 22 yr, white female. My dad raised me like a son, so of course I listen to all country music, hunt and fish. I am in a serious relationship with a city boy and things are different. I have taught him how to shoot and string a line. But he is still scared to go in the river at night. When I go out it usually involves a cooler full of Miller Lite and some firewood, down at the river. No clubs or anywhere there might be to many college kids. I live in a little town just outside of Tallahassee, Fl, where everyone says I am a redneck. I am not, I'm just country and say ya'll alot. I work at the front desk of a hotel and drive a white camaro with t-tops. My daddy only drives ford trucks, he has two, and he does not like I drive a sporty chevy. Ok hope you have enough information. Oh yeah Death to RAP music!!!!

enjoy CW dancing and shows, fish a little, bowl a little

screw around the house (about 3 acres of lawn, trees,

and hedges to keep up), eat out once or twice a week,

enjjoy Larry the Lineman type humor and droll English

type humor, non-partisan, vote the man/woman, have

an Asssoc of Arts Degree..... that's as raw as it gets

Well I'm 21 years old and from Kansas. My father was a cab driver and my mother owns a day care service. I am in college studying psychology and journalism. I am also homosexual (and the majority of homosexuals listen to pop). I like to write, read, go fishing, hang out with friends, and just have fun.

Camp fires and BBQ's are a great weekend pass time

Swimming in all the Lakes

Skiing, Tubing, and boating

What else would there be, Clubbing is a joke and acting like a gangster is not our thing

I enjoy nature and animals, I just love the outdoors. I also love photography, poetry, reading, etc.
