How about being assertive (not aggressive) with people who are very influential and can ruin things for you for speaking up, such as a boss, a family member who's influential in the whole family, a friend who's very important to you?

It is wise to be a person who knows and cares about him/herself enough to speak up for his/her needs and not be driven by guilt to ignoring ourselves in favor of others.

You should be the first one who is important for you, and then anything you do for anyone else is because you choose to do it, not because you are manipulated by guilt into doing it.

To know and care for yourself is the best thing you can do and the hardest. If you don't speak up for yourself and your needs, you will grow angry and bitter in your heart.

YES! It gets people somewhere..in most cases, it's better being assertive...especially in jobs, bosses would want their employees to be assertive.

there is a scripture, "a fool, lets his mind be known"

true, what is being aggressive, and assertive, being assertive is not an unwise thing, but wht is it to attain, freedom for yourself, and what are you to do with that freedom, motives, as to your own happiness, better to hold your tongue, and wait ans see what God says in the matter,

TO SOME EXTENT. BUT ALWAYS BEING ASSERTIVE DOSENT HELP. IN THIS SELFISH AND COMPLEX WORLD THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THEM WHO ARE LIKE ANIMALS OR BIRDS WHO CAN FEEL EVERYTHING BUT CANNOT EXPRESS NOTHING
